Ljubojno - Abandoned Prespa

Ljubojno is a village in the Lake Prespa region in North Macedonia. Once a striving settlement with over 2000 inhabitants today only 168. Its glorious past is evident in the architecture that resembles the city architecture of the period. On one side we have the houses of the richer and on the other side we have the simple houses of the poor. A village of contradiction, it has become a story of neglect, partly by the government but also by its inhabitants.
